Innovative and energetic young conductor, Mr. Fuller is an award recipient from the National Foundation for the Advancement in the Arts, the Werner Foundation, and the International Music Foundation. In recent years, he has been invited to work with Marin Alsop at the Cabrillo Festival for Contemporary Music and with eminent conductor Charles Dutoit and the Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires at the famed Teatro Colón. Maestro Fuller has conducted the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Lausanne, Pärnu Linnaorkester, Berlin Kammersymphonie, Lucca Festival Orchestra, the Colorado Symphony, Cincinnati Philharmonia and the Edinburgh (Scotland) Youth Orchestra. Other guest appearances include performances of Poulenc’s Les Mamelles des Tiresias with the Cincinnati Opera Studio (CCM), which was awarded the National Opera Association’s coveted “Best Production.” In July 2007 Fuller was one of two conductors selected worldwide to conduct the Iraqi
National Symphony and three other Iraqi orchestras in a groundbreaking Unity Academy
in Erbil, Northern Iraq sponsored by American Voices and the US Department of State. |

Jon Charles attended the School of Performing Arts and Indiana University. His studies were interrupted when he was drafted, whereupon he served in a number of United States Army bands as a drummer/percussionist/arranger. Upon his return to New York, Mr. Charles served as music coordinator and chief arranger for THE DICK CAVETT SHOW. In 1974, he moved to California where he wrote arrangements for Doc Severinsen's Tonight Show Band, Louis Bellson's Big Band Explosion and THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW. He has had a long association as an arranger/orchestrator with THE GRAMMY AWARDS, A CAPITOL FOURTH and THE KENNEDY CENTER HONORS.
His Hollywood credits include orchestrations for the TV Series' HOMEFRONT and PICKET FENCES as well as the motion pictures THE JERK, RACING WITH THE MOON, FALLING IN LOVE, THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS, CLEAN SLATE, FORREST GUMP and SELENA. Mr. Charles has also had the privilege to write arrangements for such luminaries as Julie Andrews, Louis Armstrong, Fred Astaire, Judy Garland Janis Joplin, Michael McDonald, Groucho Marx, Frank Sinatra, The Pointer Sisters, The Three Sopranos, Dr. Seuss and Kermit the Frog. He served as music director of the SHA-NA-NA television show for four years and contributed orchestral accompaniment for their symphonic concert act. Most recently Mr. Charles recreated and adapted Judy Garland's 1961 Carnegie Hall concert orchestrations for RUFUS WAINWRIGHT'S epic tribute concert.
